Epitaph is an Earth like world that is about 1.8x larger than the Earth itself. Captured by a migrating gas giant called Orbadon, the moon was lucky to develop as it is just within the habitable zone of the Aspirius System Star. A strange thing which has gotten scientists to really think is the fact the the Epitaph is not gravitationally locked despite it's close orbit to it's host planet. The Rich moon has a larger percentage of land then ocean, Meaning storms on inland areas are very uncommon, but doesn't mean rain isn't. The moon seems to have a complex system of getting water across the planet to keep the entire world green and you may think that the Oceans and Seas here are just shallow lakes. But the majority stretch to the depth of almost 6-7 km!

The Majority of Epitaph is mountainous and high but have areas where mountains cease. The highest point in the entire world is at Mount Superior at about 36'478 Feet, about 8'000 feet higher than Earth's Mt. Everest. The Planet's atmosphere resembles that of Earth with very little difference and the species of flora on this planet seem to also link to the species on Earth like the Redwood and Ponderosa. The World is heavily forested and it was only about 200 years ago since Litusian Astronomer, Stanson Tierre found the little green marble sitting beside the gas giant with an extremely high powered telescope, and being on the Perseus Arm, it wasn't so difficult to see it as it was relatively close to the Solar System.

Here is a basic Physical map of the Moon of Epitaph:

Here is a legend and brief facts of the Aspirius System Worlds: 7 Planets in the System excluding Worlds beyond the Alnaut Cloud.

Hyperia (1st Planet) Is a Bluish-purple colored Gas Giant which as most Gas Giants, consist primarily of Helium and Hydrogen with small traces of Oxygen, it is also the largest planet, for now. Hyperia received its name from the speed it travels around the Star Aspirius, completing its orbit in a fast 5.5 Earth Days. Material from this planet is steadily being burnt from the surface and drifting in to space and catching on to other Gas Giants, labeling Hyperia as a "Hot Jupiter" due to it's immense temperatures on the surface.

Ballintau (2nd Planet) Is a Rocky world which is one of two of the luckiest planets to have survived and steadily kept into a stable orbit while a cosmic tug of war raged between the several Gas Giants in the system, and avoided being thrown out. Although such a survival came at a price, leaving this world to close to Aspirius, at just 48 Million miles, The planet is quite scorched and at the same time, beaten and pummeled, leaving a lava surface taking over the planet and becoming a Venusian like world.

Cytani (3rd Planet) Is also a rocky world as Ballintau is and is a more stable world but is dead barren and with no viable atmosphere to sustain life. It lies just within the Habitable zone or "Goldilocks" zone, but unfortunately never came to develop as chaos rigged the planet of its chance to harbor any life at all. Although dead, it is often mined by Humans from Epitaph for Gold and Iron and is still found to be rich in other metals and minerals.

Orbadon (4th Planet) Orbadon lies closely in the center of the Goldilocks Zone and holds a vast system of moons, orbiting around it about 77 different sized moons, 9 of the moons over the size of the Solar System's Mercury. But what makes Orbadon so special is that one of the 9 large moons harbors a unique Eco-system like Earth, in fact; the moon, Epitaph is actually almost a mirror representation of Earth! With small but deep seas and an ocean, an active mantle, core and shifting continents with an abundant supply of oxygen, rich atmosphere and landscape with a complete Eco-system, this system just couldn't get any better!

Mirinau (5th Planet) Lying an extremely vast distance from the System's habitable zone, Mirinau provides safety to Epitaph just as Jupiter sweeps dangerous material like comets, providing a safe haven for humans. It is a ringed Gas Giant system with only 43 moons, only 3 larger than Mercury. It is primarily composed of Hydrogen, with a lower percentage of Helium and has a side of Water which causes it to rain often on the planet. It is nothing like the planet Saturn. It appears as a bluish globe and has a very turbulent Atmosphere, the most turbulent in the entire Aspirius system in fact.

Korriban (6th Planet) Named after a terrestrial planet from the science fictional movie "Star Wars," this Korriban has no resemblance of the planet from the movie; this planet is actually another Gas Giant, being the second largest planet in Aspirius. The average temperature on this world is about -362 degrees Celcius, and can often get lower. Being somewhat like Jupiter, it heralds a dusty invisible ring like Jupiter, which can only be seen through certain devices. It has a very turbulent atmosphere as it spins almost every 14 hours. It takes about 269 Earth Years for this planet to circle round once around Aspirius.

Ipsum Bau (7th Planet) The oddest planet of them all, Ipsum Bau, a strange name for a strange world. It's a ringed world just as Mirinau is and it orbits the star in an extremely elongated orbit, more oval then usual orbits by Exo-planets. It takes a whopping 423 Earth Years to complete its entire orbit, double the almost double the length it takes for Korriban to make a full orbit. It is also a Gas Giant world, appearing as very blue-purple color. It is often visited by Human Eptiaphians for extracting Silver on a strange moon called Silvania. Other moons in this area often mined as they present plenty of useful material, many find it strange why these minerals and metals develop under such conditions.

The Alnaut Cloud It is a very much similar to the Oort cloud of the Solar System, with many asteroid-like objects and maybe some pluto-sized worlds, people are yet to venture into these more uncharted areas. As research dictates, the largest object, named Yterbia, has a diameter of about 2186 miles. It is by far the largest detected object and is also the only object discovered that is above 1000 miles in diameter. Comets are also found to be idle here, some moving very slowly approaching the System star, but they're found very much in the outer reaches of the Alnaut Cloud, a region astronomers call the Palise Marun Reach.

Here is our star system's location:

More information to be given in the next updates Smile

Next updates maybe on the Planets of the Aspirius Systems, giving more detail!
