Suggestions

well, this is my fourth day in the forum, and I was thinking of some ideas to present to the guys -
I would like to present three things that I thought:

#1 - Backgorund color

The black color of forum background gives a negative impression, you know? I think a neutral color like white, leave the forum with an aspect more discreet and intuitive.

#2 - Tutorial section

I would like to propose the opening of a section dedicated to tutorials. is important to have such a section, that would have tutorials like: "How create a planet"; "How create a planet image"; "How make good planet stories"; "How create good stuffs using spore game"; and others ....

#3 - Divulgation of the forum

we just have to disclose the site over and over in many different sites!

Good Ideas, I will make a change to the forum color, i'm not that much of a fan, and I will add a services sections (Like tutorials soon )

Sounds good to me

The first idea... I personally prefer the current forum color
The second idea is great (it might be a bit harder than it seems, but still a very good idea)
The third idea I think we've already done more or less (We still need to advertise on SC4Devotion I think)

we need to advertise in more international sites, like:
SimCity Brasil
Capital SimCity
Simpeg (already?)
some the sims forums ...

Backgorund color -
I like the white color idea, but personally I prefer black too, cause it's quite more the feel of space. But then again, it is quite negative the feeling in the forums. So I think white could be a preferable alternative. Give this forum color a bit more time and see if your opinion will change...

#2 - Tutorial section
Excellent Idea, especially for a union like this! Start up a topic for it, each section for differing games, tips, tricks, and how to generally use a game. Like for me, I don't know how to use Spore

#3 - Divulgation of the forum
We could go to a couple of international sites like Yoda Bot as suggested, but let's not over board and advertise everywhere. As much as possible, avoid most other Union sites like SCJU. Since were all more familiar with AIN and USNW I've set already advertisements on Simtropolis, SC4 Devotion, AIN, USNW, you know the major sites...

#1 - yeah, you are right - my opinion is changing - you can be a button to change the background color according to the preference of the User? would be useful ...

#3 - someone explain me exactly what sites is SCJU , AIN , USNW .. I am a little confused

AIN, SCJU, and USNW are nation journal unions but require simcity/cities xl games to join

I enjoy the background. I would just like a different background color or font color to be used while your are typing a new topic or post. I can see it but more contrast would be nice. I know their is somewhere on the administrative panel under the advanced graphics where you can change but I forgot where. (I used own and run a phpBB forum way back when.)

The problem is that for some reason I cannot change the post box color so it would be easier to type

It might be something with the background itself then. On the other forum I have, the background is a steel-gray color with white font. The only time when font couldn't be read was when you hovered your mouse over a link.
