USNA Structure & Government
The United Sovereign Nations Alliance is the representative body of Caleston and human colonies across the Galaxy. Founded by and backed by the nations of Caleston, The Alliance serves as the military, exploratory, diplomatic, and economic spearhead of humanity. It is a supranational government and adopts a parliamentary system and based on Unity Station. It's reprensentation is based upon the population of nations on Caleston. Citizens of Caleston also vote for the Prime Minister every five years. While the USNA is a supranational government, all nations maintain individual and respected sovereignty back on Caleston.

Geographical
Caleston is about 2.6 times the size of Earth but half as dense, resulting in a comfortable gravity of 1.1 G's. Corsica, is the largest nation in terms of size and 'The Ganelon Crater' is completely within Torvessan borders. Roughly 13 million years ago, a massive asteroid struck what is now modern-day Torvess, leaving a large impact crater. As the oldest human remains are found near the Impact crater, several religions have been founded upon the belief that human life descended from the asteroid strike.
Overall, while Caleston experiences an active core, enabling a magnetic field, tectonic movement is slow due to the planet's large size. Evidence of this is visable through the Ganelon Crater, which has had virtually no distortion over the course of 13 million years.

Political (Recent)
Nearly 83 years ago, signs of extra-terrestial life was found on Tenoth, the fifth planet in the system. This caused a major crisis for all of humanity of Caleston. Some ideas were proposed but major religious foundations were shattered and questioned leading to a Wolrd War. All the smaller nations were engulfed by their larger neighbors, while others remained completely independent of the conflict. It enacted a great cost of Humanity and lasted for three years until the Unity Accords. Proposed by a joint collaboration by Corsica, Torvess, Kantus, Caliban and accepted by the remaining nations of the world, The Unity Accords effectively ended the war and founded the United Sovereign Nations Alliance.
Motivated by a newfound unification against the msteries of the Galaxy, construction began on the new USNA Headquarters and Capital, Unity Station. Unity Station would signify human strength, perserverance, determination, and unity to not only the inhabitants of Caleston but to the rest of the Galaxy. Cities and nations along the planet surface would be quickly rebuilt, bigger, taller, and more efficiently than ever. Meanwhile, the USNA took charge of humanity's space exploration and military priorities. With dozens of new local systems discovered and mined, Caleston and the USNA experienced a period unprecedented growth which continues even until today.
With a newfound certainty of alien life, the USNA began a massive Military build-up, seeking to be prepared for anything. Thousands of frigates, cruisers, and carriers were constructed utilizing the efficient construction facilities of Unity Station. Dozens of massive Dreadnoughts, Titans, and Leviathans were constructed, showcasing the superior military might of the USNA.

Unity Station
Unity Stations is a massive standford-torus wheel space station built after the Caleston World War. It took nearly 5 years to complete using the combined resources of every nation on the planet. It is 50 kilometers in diameter and houses millions of inhabitants. It serves as the Capital and Headquarters of the United Sovereign Nations Alliance. It rotates so everyone inside enjoys the same gravitational pull as Caleston. Along the outside rim are massive turbolasers for defense, heavy industry, and construction yards for spacecraft and military ships. It speeds along in equatorial orbit around Caleston.

Society
Most of Caleston's inhabitants are packed into dense, massive, and beautiful cities. Industry, while dirty in the past, has seen newer and cleaner methods. Most of the outskirts of any city are heavy industrial sectors, seeing miles upon miles of massive industry. Rural areas exist furthest away from urban areas though hydroponics has seen a massive influx due to population concerns. Most food, however, is farmed off-world on 'farm colonies.' In urban areas, Skyscrapers are tall, some stadning several kilometers high. The largest cities of the world look mostly like a forest of dense and supertall skyscrapers and hover cars.
The largest source of entertainment for the inhabitants of Caleston is Formula Zero Racing, also known as F-Zero. On a hovering enclosed tracks whose length reaches into dozens of miles long for a complete circuit, 30 hover race pods speed across the track just over the speed of sound. It is a highly dangerous sport, even with the mutlitude of safety features included.
