What Events?

Well, I'd like to ask that everyone post the most popular sports on their planet and that'll answer #3. I'm always a fan of popular vote for #2, and for #1, it'd be simlympic style with some tweaks mostly... atleast I'd think that.

Same idea as Will, basically, but I think there should be some limits to the amount of events per planet (say, 5).

How will they be hosted?
Same way simsports does on the Simlympics, bid for the games, vote and then run it the way it would usually run, somwhere along the lines of the Simlympics and the AIN games.

Who decides?
The people , make it a poll vote rather than a panel group decision. And in an unfortunate case that we don't have enough voters and more people bidding, then it'll have to be a panel decision.

What Events?
Possibly what each planet specializes in, maybe create a couple of fictional sports that all the planets participate in and a couple of "classic" sports like soccer, baseball, basketball with some futuristic sci-fi twists...

lol, I won't participate in the galactical olympics and it shouldn't be 'cause it won't be possible. Why? Hmm, because all planets have different races and all planets have specialities. It's like if Canada was only playing hockey, USA only doing track at olympics. It just can't be. Also, what will be the sports? It just won't be regular sports. I don't see any 5 meters alien race playing basketball against a 40 cm other alien race (like the rabbits...).

So I am totally against the olympics idea.

How dare you call us 40 cm! we are 1.6 m, and can jump very well! (and we have humans too, so we can send those maybe to make it fair)

I am against the Olympics this time because the union is still being formed, but maybe in the future, with more members, we can discuss it again -

I propose that since its 1 month=1 year, we do it every 4 years
